The Standards

Ignite is not a different program with a different rulebook. The coaches are the same people, holding the same line they hold in winter.

    We work to create a lasting love of the game of basketball. That lasting love is found in finding joy in the work it takes to be successful.

    We take advantage of every opportunity to get better – and we do it together, as a team. It’s not the team who is the best at the start of the spring season who hangs banners in July.

How the staff coaches

  • Player Development

    The advancement of individual and team skills from each and every participant is fundamental to what we aim to accomplish. We will strive to provide as many opportunities to practice and play as is reasonable and warranted by the individual’s commitment, ability, and what gives the team its best chance to compete.

  • Coaching Ethics

    We will create an emotionally and physically safe environment where we model and teach ethical behavior and competition. Our choices and actions reflect the best interests of the kids and the output produced in all practices and games.

What it is

Development and real competition. Not a destination.

Ignite promises coaching, standards, and games against teams that will test both. It does not promise a specific school or a guaranteed outcome. Where the Journey goes from there is up to the player.
