Terms of Use

The Site provides information about SDK’s select youth basketball program for grades 2–8, tryouts, teams, sponsorship opportunities, and Ignite, our spring and summer affiliate program. It is not a membership portal, and using the Site does not by itself register anyone for the program.

Registering for tryouts, joining a team, and playing for SDK are handled through TeamSnap and are subject to the registration terms, waivers, fees, and policies presented there and in our program materials. If anything on the Site conflicts with those materials, the registration terms and program materials control.

Information on the Site, including dates, fees, schedules, rosters, league details, and insurance summaries, is provided in good faith but may change or contain errors. Please confirm important details with the program before relying on them. Nothing on the Site guarantees a roster spot, playing time, or any particular outcome.

Sponsorship payments are processed by Stripe through links on the Site. By making a payment you agree to Stripe’s terms. SDK does not see or store your full card number.

SDK is a 501(c)(3) organization. Whether any part of a payment is tax-deductible depends on your circumstances and on whether you receive goods or services in return, such as recognition or advertising. Please consult your tax advisor.

You agree not to:

• use the Site in a way that is unlawful, harassing, or harmful, especially toward children;
• attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems;
• use automated tools to scrape the Site or send spam to the contact addresses listed on it;
• misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with SDK, Ignite, or any sponsor.

The SDK and Ignite names, logos, crest, and Site content are owned by or licensed to SDK and may not be used without our written permission, except for ordinary personal, non-commercial sharing of Site links. Sponsor names and logos belong to their owners and appear with their permission.

“adidas,” “3SSB,” and related marks are the property of their respective owners. References to them on the Site describe a circuit in which Ignite teams may compete and do not imply endorsement of SDK by those owners.

The Site links to services we don’t control, including TeamSnap, Stripe, our team apparel store at sdkgear.com, and sponsor websites. We aren’t responsible for their content, availability, or practices, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

The apparel store is operated by Select Apparel, not by SDK. Orders, payment, sizing, delivery, returns and refunds for anything bought there are handled by the store under its own terms, and any question about an order should go to the store rather than to SDK. Product names, prices and availability shown on this Site are read from the store and may be out of date; the store is the authority on both.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. By using the Site you agree to it.

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SDK, its directors, coaches, volunteers, and sponsors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here changes the waivers or insurance terms that apply to program participation.

We may update the Site or these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date shows the current version, and continued use of the Site after changes means you accept them.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
